Shame.

I did a very naughty thing a few days ago. Daddy was playing with me and I got so excited that I accidently bit his arm! I know I should't bite my humans and rolled over straight away and put my ears back in shame. Daddy scolded me but then picked me up and cuddled me - but I am still ashamed of myself. Sometimes it's hard to understand what humans want.....:(

I'm back!!

I don't know what's been happening with Mummy. She has been in bed a lot and then some men came in a big truck that made a loud noise and took her away - twice!!! It wasn't nice and Mummy had no time for me. It was nice to lie in bed though and snuggle, but I did miss my walkies with Mummy.
I have been going to work with Daddy in the big truck. I have my own cushion and place next to Daddy and I meet lots of people. I almost got a rat last week but it escaped down a hole and Daddy stopped me digging for it - don't know why - thought that was my job!
Today, Mummy took me walkies again and I met a lovely little bitch who is a Jack Russell like me. She was very pretty and I wanted to play with her. Mummy has gone all soppy and lovey about me meeting her as it's something called Valentine's Day today. Humans think about soppy, lovey things on this day I'm told. Anyway, I hope I meet her again, she looks great fun!

Beach!

It's so relaxing to lie in the sun. This was a lovely day at the beach with everyone. I had a little swim as I don't like the water much - only to bark at and chase seagulls along the beach. Mummy tried to get in the little boat but got all wet and screamy - I don't like it when she screams it disturbs me!

My Holidays!

Mummy has been lazy and wouldn't help me to write my blog, so I haven't been posting for awhile. I have no hands to use the computer so without Mummy I'm lost! She can be so selfish sometimes and gets on with her things and forgets all my fans waiting to hear from me.
Anyway - I had a lovely holiday in Wales with Mummy and Daddy and all my humans! Even the little ones! I say, little humans, but they are growing so fast they are the same size as Mummy!!Here are my holiday photos.

Mummy and Daddy are strange - they keep making noises and their eyes are watery and leaking. Mummy says Paddy is gone and so he is but that's okay isn't it? I don't understand. Paddy was in his bed sleeping and not bothering me for a change. Then Mummy shouted and they ran to him and said he had died. Mummy kept making me look at him - but I know he's not there any more so I don't have to look do I? Anyway Daddy dug a big hole in the garden and put him in and then there were more strange noises and leaking eyes. I got cuddled a lot which can't be bad and now I am Top Dog.

Ready for walkies!

Mummy has been taking me for long walkies since we moved house. We are getting fit she says... of course I am already fit but I play along with Mummy as it is good for her to have exercise. Here are some pics of our walk and the lovely woods. On Sunday I was allowed to stay in the car while Mummy and Daddy were in church. I don't know what they do there, but they come out happy most of the time so that's good. Anyway, afterwards I met a lovely lady called Clara who is a fan of my blog. She stroked me lots, but I was a bit shy and didn't show my sparkling personality. Perhaps I will meet her again and make a better impression.

Phew!!

I've just got back from the longest walk with Mummy! I'm exhausted! We went through the park as usual, but then Mummy said we would go somewhere different as Paddy wasn't with us. It was nice to have Mummy all to myself for a change and I had great fun fetching sticks and hunting for rabbits.
Then we came to a road and a village and Mummy kept walking. Past the church with the jingly jangly bells ringing and then we were back home again!
Had a lovely nosh and the crumbs from freshly baked scones and a big drink. Ready for a snooze now...

Update on Paddy!

I'm afraid Paddy has still not settled into our new life here at the park. The howling at other dogs is still going on and there seems no end to it! All my humans are fed up with it but are trying to be patient with him.
My little humans came to visit and took me for a walk in the park - I have great fun with them. They weren't very happy using the doggy bags though!!
I must say, I am meeting lots of other dogs, and they are all quite nice and polite. I am only interested in my humans though and quickly walk on after greeting them.The weather has been terrible for my walkies - all that rain!!! And you know how I hate to get wet! There has been much fuss about mud and wiping paws. I avoid puddles and mud as much as possible, but Paddy just walks straight through them and gets covered in mud!! It is so much nicer when the sun is out and I can lie in the garden and sunbathe...

New House!

We are in our new house! All my things are here and all the comfy chairs and Paddy and Billy. It's so exciting - I go walkies every day in lovely woods with great smells. I have to show Paddy around as it's his first time here. Billy came after a few days and loves the garden. He hasn't gone any further yet as he tells me it's a bit scary out there.
Paddy has already disgraced himself when out having walkies - he howls at every other dog we see which is most embarrassing for me and mortifying for Daddy. Mummy says it's their own fault for not socialising Paddy enough, but Daddy still hates all the howling. I don't know if Paddy will change - he is 13 years old which is ancient in human years.

Chaos!!

I don't know what's happening. Mummy and Daddy are going to this strange place and scraping walls and painting everything. They take me with them and keep saying home - but this is not my home!! Are they going senile! This place has no furniture and is cold and empty - not my idea of home. Home is a warm place with lots of lovely comfy places to sleep. Mummy seems very excited though and that is nice.
After a few days a man came and made the place all warm and Mummy has put my travel bed near the radiator so I'm now quite comfy. There is a lovely park next to this place and Mummy takes me walkies every time we're there so that is very nice.
At home, all is chaos with things piled up and all in the wrong places!!! Paddy and I don't know what to think and Billy, like all cats, hates change. I,m hoping the humans will get back to normal - will keep you posted....

Snuggling!

My favourite thing to do at the moment is snuggling. I love to get on Mummy's knee and snuggle, but here I am snuggling my blanky and trying to warm my cold nose. It's been so cold lately and all that white stuff fell out of the sky and it won't go away! It sticks to my tummy which is bare of fur due to the allergies. I had to suffer the indignity of wearing my blue jumper today. Mummy keeps buying different ones for me - she once bought one with sequins on it from Next!!! It didn't last long as I refused to move when I had it on. Then another one of my humans bought me a black one that said "I'm too sexy for this shirt" - that was never worn for long....

I know I haven't been posting for awhile. Mummy has been poorly and then it was all the business with paper and sellotape and dragging a tree in the house...!!! As you can see Mummy has scanned a couple of my holiday photos for you to see.
The first one is when I actually swam for the first time!!! Everyone was excited and so was I - it's nice to please your humans. The other is a rather beautiful one of me on the beach in Wales. Hope you like them!

Something called Christmas.

There is a bit of excitement in the air at my house. Mummy is shopping a lot - well she always shops - but more than usual and she's all excited and playing about with lots of paper all over the floor. She keeps hiding things, but says they're not for me but for FAMILY - as if I wasn't family!!
Someone asked about Paddy. Well, he's been a bit better lately and not such a pest for Mummy. Though only this morning he would not leave my bottom alone and it is very embarrassing for me. Mummy and Daddy shout - but he won't be told. He sleeps in the kitchen and I sleep in the hall at night. If I slept with him he would lick me to death!!
I've just heard Mummy mention the dreaded word - shower- but it's not me this time - yay!! Paddy is smelly and will be dirty as well when he comes back from duck shooting, so it's his turn - ha ha ha....

Silly Mummy!

Mummy has just informed me that she has deleted my photos off the computer so I'm afraid you will have to wait for them! She has to scan them or something...
I had an exciting time last week - I caught a rat and killed it! Mummy didn't seem to like it but she said good boy anyway so that was good.

Back from Hols!

Well, I'm back from another holiday. I had a great time going to the beach, walking and making new friends.
I did disgrace myself at first with the dog who lives next door - Katie- I took a dislike to her and growled terribly and showed her my lovely white teeth. Mummy shouted at me and Katie growled back and I had to go in my bed for awhile. Then, Mummy took me very gently to Katie and said everything was alright and that Katie just wanted to be friendly. I sniffed a bit and so did she and then we were running around the garden and having great fun together. I made a friend!
I have loads of photos to show you and some videos of me actually swimming!!! Mummy is getting them for me this week - so lots to look forward to.

P.S.

Paddy is going to see the vet tomorrow - about all the howling and running after bitches etc etc...
I hope it won't involve the vet getting too interested in poking and prodding, and I'm glad it's not me this time. Don't tell Paddy I told you, but he actually cocked his leg in the house last week!!! This is the worst thing you can do in a human house, and though Mummy and Daddy shouted a bit, he wasn't punished. Something about old and senile - whatever that means!!

I was out in the truck with Daddy a few days ago and met many humans. You know of course, that I am often admired for my beautiful eyes, soft coat and lovely temperament, but this day was different. I have never been so insulted in my short life! A human, who shall remain nameless, said that I was a lovely girl!!! A girl!! Can he not see that I am a male, and a handsome one?? I really felt like biting him but I know this isn't allowed.
Yes, I am in touch with my feminine side, but this makes me all the more adorable and in no way diminishes my dogginess. I will never understand humans.

Still here...

I haven't written much lately, I know, but things are going well for me. My fur IS starting to grow back ever so slowly. The same can't be said for Paddy who is acting strange in his old age. He's 12, which is 84 in human years, so a little strangeness is to be expected, I guess. He's stopped eating regularly and howls a lot, though he doesn't seem to be in pain. He can't hear a thing and Mummy has to shout really loud to him which scares me as I am a sensitive soul and am easily disturbed.
I'm ashamed to say that this morning Paddy and I had a bit of a set to and were very angry with each other. By the time Mummy came to see what was happening we had forgot all about it - but were still separated! This is to be expected of humans, they don't understand the doggy mind. We instantly forgive and forget and never hold a grudge. Still it's nice to lie in my soft bed and dream the morning away......

Holiday

Have been to another hotel with Mum and Dad. This one was in Wales and very nice too. I was allowed to be in the room! Later on we had a walk to a cottage and,surprise, my little humans were there!!! The next day we all set off to climb a mountain, it was my first and the little humans first as well. We all did very well though it was a bit muddy and difficult near the river.
Back at the hotel I had to have a bath with Mummy!!! I thought she was trying to drown me!!! When we were all clean again we went back to the cottage to have pizza - at least the humans did- I stayed in the car for a rest. My little legs had never walked so much.
