Television

Here's a photo of me enjoying my favourite show - Eastenders. I particularly like the music at the end. Other favourites are Send in the Dogs, the Dog Whisperer and Animals do the funniest things

P.S.

I forgot to mention that two lovely bitches arrived at our house yesterday, they were lost and Daddy had to tie them up until someone came to get them. One was a lovely springer spaniel called Mia and the other was a sort of cross-breed called Ebony. Mia was lovely and liked me very much. Then a man in a truck came and they went bounding off without even saying goodbye - they had no manners!!!
Strange things are happening!! My humans are not going out and seem to be happy to laze in bed all day and night! My routine is all over the place and you know how I like my routine...Anyway it's nice to be able to lie on the bed with Mummy and Daddy who seem to be taking more tablets than me...what is going on? When will I get my routine back??

Walkies!!

At the weekend Mummy and Daddy took me to the forest for walkies. I had a great time though I wasn't allowed off the lead because of my enthusiasm for rabbits. I should be able to run free soon as Mummy has got me an identity disc for my collar. As if I would get lost!! I know what I'm doing at all times, they just have no faith in me.
Back to the forest. It is my favourite place with lots of good smells and places to explore. I met two labradors who were very interested in me but their human wouldn't let them play with me. They had to sit and stay while the humans talked a load of nonsense about the forest. Of course I behaved impeccably and stayed by Mummy's side.

Little humans!

My little humans came to play and they stayed all night! I had a lovely time snuggling with them and sharing treats.

I'm better!

I feel so much better today, no itching and scabs all going. Felt so well that I've been playing football and dragging my blanky all over the lawn. I also found a dentastick in my bed that I'd saved for a rainy day - it was delicious!
Back to football. I really love it and want to bite the ball, but it's too big. Still, I have fun pushing it all around the garden with my nose and trying to stand on it like a circus dog!!

Spots update

P.S. my spots are getting better

Treats!

Mummy bought me a Jumbone yesterday and I loved it. I loved it so much it was gone in 10 minutes but I'm not allowed another until today - roll on treat time!! Of course Mummy has to call it a silly name - sweetie bone - I ask you, I'm sure she thinks I'm a human baby!

Paddy got a Jumbone too but his was much bigger and went in 2 minutes!!

Sometimes Billy the cat has catnip drops which make him roll all over the floor in an unseemly manner. I tried them once - did nothing for me. Mummy calls them cat marijuana - don't know what that means but it amuses the humans and so does Billy when he has a full packet, Humans are easily amused.

Last week I found a lovely rabbit leg that Billy had left under the hedge. I dragged it out on the lawn, rolled on it a bit - this helps the flavour and covers me in a lovely fragrance - and was just about to settle down and eat it when Mummy threw it away!! What a waste of good food!!

Itchy!!!!

Last night was unbearable, wherever I sat I was itchy! Mummy has been talking to Daddy about visiting Gordon the vet!!
I had to be wiped with baby wipes - the shame of it - and then another shower! Must say I'm much better today and my skin is not so red and blotchy with spots. I guess this means regular showers...Oh no....

Spots!

My spots are much worse and very itchy. Mummy and Daddy have showered me -(Ughhh) - and given me extra tablets. This is what comes of running through grass in new places. Will I ever get better? Yes, I am feeling sorry for myself. Mummy has made me feel a bit better and distracted me with a lamb bone - yummy. So, all is well...

Friday 3 July 2009

A nice picture of me. Notice the lovely contrast between my fur and the lovely green moss....hmmm, I am handsome even though I say it myself!

I'm still here!

Mummy has been moving stuff around and talking on the phone a lot - she says we are now back online and I can do my blog! Humans!! Hard to understand them most of the time, but I do love them.
So glad it's cooler today, my little body couldn't take anymore panting and trying to find shade. I've also come out in spots on my tummy - Mummy calls them "poorlies" !!! It's all to do with my allergies, I have been running after rabbits again in the long grass so it's my own fault. I guess that means I will have to have a shower which I hate. Daddy has a shower and then shouts "Ready!" and Mummy grabs me and takes me in to him. I have to avert my eyes as Daddy is naked and I am a sensitive soul and easily shocked. It is very embarrassing for me and I hate getting wet!
I do feel better afterwards though and run around the garden, so it's not all bad.
